Lake Travis High School Football

Rough Hollow is served by the award-winning Lake Travis Independent School District (LTISD), ranked #7 in the state of Texas.

LTISD has deemed itself “The Destination District” as a result of the large amount of families moving into the district due to its reputation of academic and athletic success. Our youngest Rough Hollow residents currently attend Serene Hills Elementary School, however LTISD is currently in the process of building Rough Hollow Elementary, which is slated for completion in the Fall of 2020. The school will accommodate 850 students and boasts common areas that foster group learning and collaboration. The site features sweeping views of the Texas Hill Country and is easily accessible via Hwy 71.

Our pre-teen and teenage residents attend Lake Travis Middle School and Lake Travis High School. Lake Travis Middle School has been recognized by the Duke University Talent Identification Program for their excellent PSAT and ACT scores. Based on STAR testing, Lake Travis Middle School has also been rated above average for their education quality and continues to show year after year academic improvement when compared to other rivaling programs. Lake Travis High School is no different in its academic success. Since 1998, Lake Travis High School has earned 29 state championships in University Interscholastic League athletics and academics, as well as extracurricular clubs and activities. While boasting a 95% graduation rate, Lake Travis High School has also been named one of the “Best High Schools for Athletes” in the Austin area.
